You Said

Writing is physical.
When you write
you don’t sit
in your desk,
you move
around,
jump
in circles,
twirl
till dizzy,
flap
your hands,
shake
your body
and tremble.
As if the poem
was light,
trapped
in a marble,
and you
a hen,
dancing,
loosening it
free.
